LAKATAN SAHA
A Proven System. A Scalable Product. The Right Partner.
Presented by Kevin Rholette Allego
PART 1
Who Am I
- eCommerce operator since 2021
- 2023 was the breakthrough year. Ads were working, orders were coming in, revenue was scaling.
- 2024 was a reset. The business slowed. I went back to zero.
- No shortcuts. No excuses. Started over.
- Spent months looking for the right product. Testing. Experimenting.
- Found Lakatan Saha. A product with real demand, strong profit potential, and a market no one was reaching the right way.
- 8 months later: PHP 1.17M in revenue. PHP 333K net profit. One operator.
- Now it is time to scale. And scaling requires the right partner.
PART 2
What is Lakatan Saha?
- Premium Lakatan banana bulbs
- Ready-to-plant, sourced directly from Central Visayas Lakatan Farms
- Retail price: PHP 499 for B1T1
- Recent exact AOV: PHP 836
- Nationwide shipping with door-to-door fulfillment
PART 2
Why This Product Works
- Clear practical value. Buyers are not just receiving a parcel. They are receiving planting material they can grow.
- Excitement after delivery. The product creates anticipation because the buyer can plant it, care for it, and watch results come out over time.
- Less like ordinary products. General products are easy to reject when delivered. This has a stronger reason to accept because it carries future value.
PART 2
Who is Buying This
- Home gardeners and backyard farmers
- Plant hobbyists and collectors
- Small-scale agricultural entrepreneurs
- Buyers from 80+ provinces nationwide
- Average buyer pays PHP 836 per order
- Repeat buyers documented across multiple provinces
PART 2
Repeat Demand Exists
Pancake buyer data shows this is not only a one-time impulse product. Some buyers come back and order again.
8.0% repeat buyer rate
178 repeat buyers out of 2,228 unique buyers.
193 repeat delivered orders
Repeat buyers still generated delivered COD revenue.
12.5% revenue share
Repeat buyers produced PHP 147,073 of delivered revenue.
Source: Pancake buyer phone matching, Sep 2025-Apr 2026. Repeat means more than one order from the same buyer phone number.
PART 3
What Makes This Different
This is not a low-value impulse item. It gives the buyer something useful, visible, and worth waiting for.
Higher Perceived Value
The buyer sees it as a planting asset, not a disposable product.
Future Result
They get excited because they can plant it and watch growth happen.
Stronger Delivery Intent
Compared with generic items, there is a real reason to accept the parcel.

COGS fixed at PHP 38.35/unit. Profit Rate means net profit divided by delivered revenue, after courier, COGS, and ad spend.
PART 4
Delivery Success vs Failed Orders
The line graph shows exact Pancake counts per month. Green is delivered orders, red is returned or returning orders.
Peak volume created the most failures
September and October had the most delivered orders, but also the most failed parcels because order volume was highest.
December had the weakest fail rate
Only 110 orders were delivered, but 76 failed. That is the clearest month where fulfillment and COD follow-up hurt collection.
No dedicated CX support
Limited confirmation, address validation, and delivery follow-up allowed weak COD orders to enter shipping.
April improved the failure ratio
April had 95 delivered and 18 failed orders, the best failure rate in this period at 14.5%.
Format: delivered / failed. Failed means returned or returning Pancake orders. Partner opportunity: add CX filtering and fulfillment control to protect COD delivery success.
PART 4
1000 pcs Partner Projection
Scenario: partner buys 1000 pcs, one inbound shipment from Visayas to partner warehouse is already included in the PHP 40/pc cost, and inventory is consumed in around 15 days. Projection uses exact Pancake order data from Feb, Mar, Apr.

Revenue
Deductions
Projected Profit
Feb-Apr exact baseline: PHP 323,547 revenue, 387 delivered orders, 1,610 delivered pieces, PHP 93,291 Meta ad spend, and PHP 30,161 customer courier. Simple formula: revenue minus COGS minus ad spend minus customer courier.
PART 4
Worst Case Sensitivity
If return or failed parcel rate increases, delivered revenue drops while COGS, ads, and customer courier still need to be covered.
| Fail Rate | Revenue | Net Profit |
|---|---|---|
| 25% | PHP 192,001 | PHP 78,741 |
| 30% | PHP 179,201 | PHP 70,825 |
| 35% | PHP 166,401 | PHP 62,909 |
If cost per purchase increases, ad spend rises while revenue, COGS, and customer courier stay the same.
| CPP Increase | CPP | Ad Spend | Net Profit |
|---|---|---|---|
| +15% | PHP 277 | PHP 66,636 | PHP 75,591 |
| +30% | PHP 313 | PHP 75,328 | PHP 66,899 |
| +50% | PHP 362 | PHP 86,917 | PHP 55,310 |
Baseline projected net profit: PHP 84,283. These are stress tests, not the expected case.
